Generative Art

So for this project we got to learn about generative art and try tom make our own. For the first part of this project we made two pieces of artwork using a software called ScriblerToo. The first photo that we needed to make had to be created from using a reference as inspiration. So I decided to use the photo on the upper left as my reference and I drew what is on the right. I really enjoyed using this program because it gives your piece of artwork a really cool texture. For the second piece for this part we had to try to make a piece that shows volume so I decided that I wanted to do something more abstract. So as you can see below it kind of looks like an upside down hat and I think that it kinda looks like it's a bit 3D. I definitely enjoyed making the first piece of artwork more.
For the second part of this week we had to make two pieces of artwork using a software called Flame. For this project we were supposed to try to make two pieces that show or convey some kind of emotion. For this I decided that I wanted to convey two different opposite emotions and I decided on chaos and calmness. The top one I tried to make it look more calming by making it mostly blues and purples and not having too many super bright spots. For the second piece of artwork I wanted to make something that was kind of crazy and chaotic. I tried to use multiple colors like red, orange, yellow, green, and a bit of light blue. There are also some spots that I went over so much that it almost looks white. I also tried to have it go all over the place and have it look like it's going off the page.
